Jacqueline M. Feuer, MD
I was born and raised in New York. I attended college at the University of Vermont and went on to medical school at the Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel. After medical school, I continued my training in NYC. After getting married, I moved to Boston where I have been living since. I have 2 children ages 24 and 19.
I have been a physician at Internists Associated for almost 25 years practicing both Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. We have a dedicated staff and all work together for our patients. I pride myself in my relationship with my patients both long standing and new. I love that I am part of a small, traditional practice with old time values in caring for our patients.
I am often asked why I practice both Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. The answer is simple. I love them both. I love the challenges of practicing as an Internist with the variety of diseases we see. My arthritis practice brings its own challenges but helping people combat their pain is always extremely rewarding.
I am also trained as a Certified Health Coach. This means that in addition to practicing traditional medicine, I have additional expertise in counseling people on how to implement difficult lifestyle changes. This knowledge has integrated itself well in both my Internal Medicine and Rheumatologic practices. Non-medication modalities can be extremely helpful in reducing inflammation and pain and I believe these should always be considered before medication.
I look forward to many more years at Internists Associated!
